Congratulations, Trish! I’m proud of you!

I agree with you–it is so important to support and encourage our students and to help them discover their possible selves. It is disappointing for me when one of our students describes a less-than-friendly encounter with one of our college faculty or staff members. We need to cease this activity and embrace servant leadership instead, with the goal of positively impacting the lives of our students.

Your help and support during our DCCL class this past summer served to encourage me when schedules were tight, responsibilities were looming, and sleep was scarce. You demonstrated precisely what you wrote about in your article. I appreciate you!
